For the first official theatrical release 25 years after production, both the visuals and audio have been fully supervised by director/screenwriter Takashi Shimizu, the 'founder of the curse.' This creates a new frightening experience on the big screen and boosts the works. They have been converted into 4K masters with high resolution and clarity, and the original stereo audio has been evolved into 5.1ch with surround effects to provide delicate yet powerful horror presentation, updated to deliver a refined and impactful frightening experience.
