For their first official theatrical release 25 years after their production, complete supervision by Takashi Shimizu, the director and scriptwriter, the "founder of the curse," has been realized for both visuals and audio.
This creates a new horror experience to be savored on the big screen, boosting the works. Converted to a 4K master with high-resolution and high-definition visuals, and evolved from the original stereo sound source to 5.1ch with surround sound effects, it has been updated to deliver a delicate yet powerful horror experience.
