Twill Denim Baggy Shorts

A baggy shorts made thinner and lighter for easier wear in summer by reducing the denim weight from the previous 14oz to 13.2oz. The selvedge is a blue selvedge rather than a red one, making this pair perfect for coordinating with mostly navy clothing. The warp uses a combined yarn of a number 7 open-end spun straight yarn and a number 8 ring-spun slub yarn, and the weft uses a number 8 slub yarn. Woven on an old shuttle loom. Because the surface of the fabric has irregularities, the texture increases the more it is washed. This piece is hard-washed in blue and gray. The same design is also produced in two colors with a one-wash finish. (A.H)
