Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. Nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and with four platinum albums before disbanding in 2000, it is one of the representative alternative rock bands of the 90s. The band reformed in 2006 with new members, and as of 2025, all but the bassist are original members. This is a special order official licensed T-shirt of "SMASHING PUMPKINS". The abbreviation in Japan is "Suma Pan".
Reproducing the big prints of the 90s. While the original from that time, released in '94, was mainly available with a red body, this time we've adopted black. The pop yet edgy artwork, characteristic of Smashing Pumpkins, is impressive. There is no back print.
We were also meticulous about the body, using a 25mm wide neck rib, and the hem and sleeves are finished with a skilled blind stitch (also called single stitch), and all seams connecting the neck rib and arms are single-locked, perfectly reproducing the body of the 90s (most current T-shirts have double stitching on the sleeves, hem, and neck/arm seams). The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and, of course, has a tubular construction. This is a special piece sewn and printed in Japan.
