Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. Nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and with four platinum albums before disbanding in 2000, they were one of the representative alternative rock bands of the 90s. The band reformed in 2006 with new members, and as of 2025, all but the bassist are original members. This is a special order T-shirt with an official license from "SMASHING PUMPKINS". Their abbreviation in Japan is "Smapan".
Reproducing the big print from the 90s. This is a jacket T-shirt of their representative double album "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness", released in 1995. The back features a print of their tour from that time (1996).
The body is also meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, and the hem and sleeves are finished with a skilled blind stitch (also known as single stitch), and all seams connecting the neck rib and arms are single-locked, perfectly reproducing the body of the 90s (incidentally, most current T-shirts have double stitching on the sleeves, hem, and seams connecting the neck and arms). The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is, of course, tubular. This is a special piece sewn and printed in Japan.
