With the establishment of the U.S.A.F. in 1946, this is a flight jacket that was manufactured and delivered for only a few years. Two types of B-9 jackets are known, early and late, but this one is based on the early type. The point is that the cuffs are ribbed. We are particularly particular about the materials, and the buttons are made of the same material as the urea buttons of the time. The buckle is made of a light and rust-resistant material because the buckles of the time were heavy and prone to rust. The outer fabric is T/C twill, a blended yarn that was not available at the time, achieving durability and weight reduction.
