M-65 FIELD PARKA: Adopted by the US Army in the late 1960s, this is the 1965 model extreme cold weather field parka. It is the successor model to the M-51 parka, commonly known as the "M-51 Fishtail Parka." This model is a town-use version of the M-65 Field Parka. Made with a plain weave material of nylon and cotton. Created with the sizing and specifications of the 1960s. The liner is insulated with Thermolite and the amount of filling is doubled compared to a regular field parka, making it a model with enhanced warmth.
