Merino Wool + Cotton Loop Back Sweat Hoodie

"This merino wool + cotton sweat series, with its nice heathered finish, includes a hoodie, crew neck, and V-neck. Wool has the property of absorbing moisture and trapping it within its fibers when you sweat. So even if the fabric gets wet from sweat, the surface remains dry. However, once the sweat exceeds a certain amount, the fibers become saturated with moisture and it repels outwards.
This series was developed to provide comfort even when wearing too many layers or sweating heavily during outdoor sports in mid-winter. The outer layer is merino wool, but the back is intentionally made of cotton pile. This allows it to adapt to a wide range of temperatures and humidity. I really like the classic American-style fabric feel. The V-neck is intentionally deep. If you wear a shirt over a turtleneck without buttoning it, and then wear this V-neck sweat over it, you can transform the sporty feel of the sweat into something more like a cardigan." (A.H)
