Merino Wool + Cotton Loop Back Sweat Hoodie

This is a sweat series made with Merino wool + cotton, which has a great heathered look. We made a hoodie, crew neck, and V-neck. Wool has the property of absorbing moisture when you sweat and trapping it within the fibers. This keeps the surface feeling dry even when the fabric gets wet from sweat. However, if the sweat exceeds a certain amount, the fibers become saturated and repel it.
This series was developed to provide maximum comfort even when sweating a lot, whether from wearing it too long or during intense outdoor sports in midwinter. The outer layer is Merino wool, but the lining is intentionally made with cotton pile. This allows it to adapt to a wide range of temperatures and humidity. We really love the classic American fabric feel. The V-neck has a deliberately deep V-zone. By wearing a shirt over a turtleneck without buttoning it, and then wearing this V-neck sweat over that, you can transform the sporty feel of the sweat into something more like a cardigan." (A.H)
