Merino Wool + Cotton Loop Back V-neck Sweatshirt

"This merino wool + cotton sweatshirt series, with its nice heathered finish, is great. We made a hoodie, a crew neck, and a V-neck. Wool has the property of absorbing moisture and trapping it within its fibers when you sweat. So even if the fabric gets wet from sweat, the surface remains dry. However, if the amount of sweat exceeds a certain level, the fibers become saturated with moisture and repel it.
This series was developed to keep you as comfortable as possible when you're overdressed or sweating heavily during outdoor sports in mid-winter. The outside is merino wool, but the inside is intentionally made with cotton pile. This allows it to adapt to a wide range of temperatures and humidity. I really like the classic American-like fabric feel. The V-neck is intentionally deep. If you wear a shirt unbuttoned over a turtleneck, and then wear this V-neck sweatshirt over it, you can transform the sporty feel of the sweatshirt into something more like a cardigan." (A.H)
