Linen Fisherman Pant

Inspired by a foreign woman wearingタイパンツ (Thai pants) and a large backpack on a Shinkansen platform, I decided to make these pants. Made of 100% linen. However, if made as is, they would be impractical for everyday use, so I significantly changed the design around the waist and the front specifications, and slightly tapered the hem width, while retaining only the atmosphere. Originally, these pants are worn in hot and humid Thailand, so I believe they fulfill the ease expected of summer clothing in Japan. I tried them in May, and even when I sweat, they stayed dry and comfortable. Linen is a natural functional material with heat retention, durability, heat dissipation, and moisture-wicking properties, making it usable year-round. In winter, it insulates the body, and in summer, it releases excess heat while absorbing and quickly drying sweat. Using a smooth 14-count linen yarn, it is fine, firm, and resilient, maintaining a dry surface feel even when sweating for a refreshing fit at all times. Relaxed pants modified from Thai pants for ease of wear. The front features a zipper closure. The sides and inseam are finished with triple-needle stitching. The back waistband has elastic shirring and a spindle, allowing for beltless wear. The side pockets feature blue bar tacks. The slightly cropped, nine-tenths length pairs perfectly with classic sandals.
