2.5 Layer Shell Jacket

I always think it would be great if I could go on a trip in the same clothes I wear every day. If that's the case, I'd want a jacket with high moisture permeability and waterproofing, and a zipper pocket to keep my passport safe, so I used to wear shells with large outdoor brand logos. However, with that kind of mountain parka style, the short length doesn't protect my pants from rain. I can't travel in a top and bottom rain suit, and the idea of wanting to wear clothes as usual gets further and further away. I made this coat while vaguely thinking about such things. It's thin, light, highly breathable and waterproof, and compacts when not needed. It's an all-season outer. It's made of 2.5-layer fabric with a water-repellent finish on ripstop fabric, which is resistant to tearing and uses strong nylon yarn, and a PU laminate + membrane surface treatment on the back. The seams are taped, so you're unlikely to get wet from rain. The other day, I went on a location shoot in the mountains wearing this coat. It was quite harsh with fog, wind, and rain, but I didn't feel cold, it had moderate stretch, and the surface that touches the skin wasn't sticky, so I could work without stress. Reflectors are included as a design element. I know this is a divisive point, but I think this level of detail is acceptable because it's not too prominent. Also, because the fabric is thin, I think it's lighter and more convenient than carrying a folding umbrella in the rainy season (personal opinion). A.H
