This is a reproduction of the ringer T-shirt, sold around 1940, featuring contrasting color ribs on the neck and cuffs against the body color. "Plebe" refers to a freshman at a military academy, and Champion® sold apparel using this name from the 1950s to the 1980s. The chest prints are official licensed reproductions of 1970s designs from "YALE," "UCLA" (University of California, Los Angeles), "Michigan State University," and the United States Air Force Academy "USAFA." The collar tag, commonly known as the "bar tag," which features the Champion logo within a blue bar and was used during the same period, is also faithfully reproduced. Furthermore, the absence of a C-logo patch on the left sleeve is also true to the original specifications.
