A marriage of Kyoto crafts

This sturdy yet supple stole is made entirely by Kyoto artisans, woven using the Tango chirimen technique from yarn spun by finely cutting and twisting Kurotani washi together with silk thread.

Kurotani washi, with a history of over 800 years, is carefully finished sheet by sheet by skilled craftsmen using the traditional hand-made papermaking technique.
It becomes more comfortable against the skin the more you use it and develops character over time — a stole that grows with you.

The tricolor stole in white, navy, and sakura (cherry blossom pink) suits both formal and casual wear regardless of gender.
