A marriage of Kyoto craftsmanship
This durable, supple stole is made entirely by Kyoto artisans: paper yarns created by finely cutting and twisting Kurotani washi and silk yarns, woven using the Tango chirimen technique.

With a history of over 800 years, Kurotani washi is carefully finished sheet by sheet by skilled artisans using traditional hand-sheeting techniques.

The more you use it, the more it adapts to your skin and develops a pleasing patina — a 'stole that matures with use'.
