A marriage of Kyoto crafts

A durable and supple stole made entirely by Kyoto artisans: Kurotani washi cut into fine strips and twisted into yarns together with silk, then woven using the Tango chirimen technique.

Kurotani washi, with a history of over 800 years, is carefully finished sheet by sheet by skilled artisans using traditional hand-sheeting techniques.

A "stole to nurture" that becomes more comfortable over time and develops a pleasing patina.

The gentle off-white color suits both formal and casual wear, regardless of gender.

Recommended for graduation and entrance ceremony outfits, as well as birthday celebrations.
