Yoshiko Fukatsu

I am Fukatsu, one of only two remaining Edo folding fan artisans.

I use thick, high-quality bamboo and Japanese paper from Kyoto, and I personally handle every step of the manufacturing process.

Most of my fans feature original designs and are one-of-a-kind. If you find a design you like, please purchase it soon.

The crisp "pachin" sound when closing the fan is a hallmark of an Edo fan. Please enjoy the stylish Edo fan.
