A folding screen with an impressive bronze full moon on black Japanese paper.

A bronze full moon was printed using the karakami technique, which involves hand-printing patterns from a woodblock onto handmade Japanese paper.

For Japanese people, the "moon" is a symbol of identity.

We chose it because of the familiarity and special feelings it evokes.

The Japanese paper is an original from 'Keibifugetsu', created from scratch by Yuko Tanino, who presides over "Handmade Washi Tanino".

Fossilized coral, said to have antibacterial properties, is embedded, and it is dyed black using sumi ink.

The folding screen was produced by Takato Kataoka, a hyogushi (mount maker) from "Kataoka Byobu-ten", and is made in a size suitable for enjoying on the floor.

This folding screen, created with the vitality of nature and the soul of craftsmen, is recommended for relaxing spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms.
