A small folding screen with an impressive bronze-colored full moon on black Japanese paper.

The full moon was printed using the Karakami technique, which involves hand-printing patterns from a woodblock onto handmade Japanese paper.

For Japanese people, the "moon" is a symbol of identity.

We chose it because of the familiarity and special feelings it evokes.

The Japanese paper is an original from 'Keibifugetsu', created from scratch by Yuko Tanino, who presides over "Tesuki Washi Tanino".

It incorporates fossil coral, which is said to have antibacterial properties, and is dyed black with sumi ink.

The folding screen was made by Takato Kataoka, a hyogushi (mount maker) at "Kataoka Byobu-ten", and can be easily placed on a desk.

This folding screen, made with the vitality of nature and the soul of craftsmen, is recommended for relaxing spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms.
