A bowl from the "KOROMO" series, full of the charm of lacquerware.

The KOROMO series allows you to experience the wood's texture, the beauty of lacquer, and the appeal of gold and silver maki-e together.

The upper part of the bowl is coated using the "me-hajiki" technique that lets the wood grain show through, while the lower part is finished to emphasize the wood grain.

The lines of gold and silver maki-e drawn at the boundary create a striking impression.

Though wooden bowls are often associated with soups, this modern shape is also recommended as a rice bowl.

Matching soup and rice bowls in different colors is also fashionable.

We offer two colors: a brilliant vermilion with a gold line and black with a silver line.
