Yaeyama Minsa weaving has been passed down for about 400 years. The threads are dyed with motifs from Yaeyama's nature and carefully woven by skilled artisans.

Nirai Kanai refers to the paradise across the sea where the gods live, and is said to bring happiness.

The deep, emotive shades inspired by the blue gradation of the vast, calm sea surrounding the Yaeyama islands are expressive, and because this is a carefully handwoven fabric, it is very durable.

Care Gently press-wash with diluted neutral detergent. Do not spin dry in a washing machine. Iron with a pressing cloth.
Notes Continuous exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading.

If it gets dirty, gently pat with a well-wrung cloth.

If it still does not come off, we recommend washing with water; for stubborn stains, hand wash with a neutral detergent.

Rubbing or wringing by hand can cause wrinkles that may not come out even with ironing, leading to deformation.

Remove moisture with a towel and dry in the shade.
