Oh, how strange! The design changes!

This is a thermochromic flat sake cup: when you pour a drink hotter than about 45°C, a vivid kimono appears on the black cup.

It is Mino ware from Tajimi, with a 1300-year history and the largest production volume in Japan.

When hot sake is poured the design appears, and as it returns to room temperature the cup turns black again — it will surely liven up hospitality occasions.

Perfect as a gift for sake lovers or as a souvenir for overseas visitors.
