Koichi Morimoto

A premium paper knife finished by a traditional craftsman using the same manufacturing process as Japanese kitchen knives.

The blade is made from carbon steel (an iron-carbon alloy) and is heat-treated to create a sharp, hard cutting edge.

The handle combines tin, which has a distinctive white luster and purifying qualities, with high-grade rosewood to give it a dignified elegance.

Forged blades hammered and solidified by a blacksmith are said to “ward off evil and cut a way forward”, making them ideal as auspicious gifts for career advancement or new beginnings.
