This plate is made by applying a special glass coating to Nishijin-ori certified by the Nishijin Textile Industry Association, and with a blue base it is a small cherry blossom plate representative of Japan.

The gold and silver threads woven into the Nishijin-ori sparkle when hit by sunlight or lighting, showing various expressions depending on how it is used.
